Jung Saenghwa was reading in her room, feeling for the first time in three days, calmer and hopeful. Ji Hoon had told her about the new development between Yunho and Jaejoong and at first, she had been angry. Yunho was getting away with what he did to Jaejoong, but Ji Hoon had also explained that Jaejoong had beaten Yunho up and Yunho was now walking around with bruised ribs and two black eyes.
Yunho may be her son, but she knew that an assault, like the one Jaejoong experienced at Yunho’s hands. Can be utterly devastating. Jaejoong, it seemed, had a huge capacity to forgive. As a woman, Saenghwa would have never been that forgiving so easily, but it seems that Jaejoong hasn’t either.
There was a knock on her door and Hyori, the maid, asked to come in.
Saenghwa put down the book she was reading and told her to please come in. “What can I do for you?” she asked curiously.
Hyori looked nervous as she took out folded papers from her apron pocket. She knew, her action will bring something bad for the future of her young master, but still… she wasn’t the person to decide because that place was reserved for the lady of the house, Jung Saenghwa “I found these underneath the sirs' bed and I thought I should give them to you, Madame.” She handed Saenghwa the papers like they would bite her, almost sighing in relief as her madam took them.
Saenghwa looked them over, her eyes bulged out and her hands trembling with anger. Divorce papers... was Yunho playing with Jaejoong’s heart? “Thank you, child. Please don’t tell anyone that you found these.” She gave the young girl a grateful smile as she left the room.
Saenghwa couldn’t allow Jaejoong to live in false hope. She would show him the documents as soon as she got the chance. Yunho would not be allowed to hurt that dear, sweet child anymore.Title : Gap Between Us
Summary : Jung Yunho is a well-known partner for the huge empire in Seoul. Little did he know, the reason behind his works is breaking apart, and started to die slowly… In the hand of the man he called boss.
The sound of fingers drumming incessantly on a table was all Yunho could hear as he sat at his computer station, desperately trying to finish his work.
The humming of the computer, the constant ticking of the clock on the wall; these things he could stand.
“Will you quit doing that?” he finally snapped, turning abruptly on his swivel chair to face a very bored looking boy. Said boy glanced at him and pulled a large grin, which Yunho naturally took as an ‘okay’. Not five seconds had passed when he heard the sound of fingers drumming on wood yet again.
“Jaejoong!!!!” he shouted, standing from his chair so fast that it was sent flying backwards to the floor. The pale boy couldn’t help but laugh a little bit. He knew exactly how to wind up his workaholic lover, and he enjoyed every moment of doing it. What else was he supposed to do when Yunho was devoting all of his attention to work and not him?
“Damn it, Jaejoong. You’re 21 now! Grow up will you?!”
Jaejoong pouted. “Come on, Yunnieee. Quit doing those reports for now and give me some attention!” he whined.
“Jaejoong,” Yunho said with some bitterness in his tone, “you know how important this work is. Perhaps it’s okay for you to be the lazy ass, but not me. I’m a partner at a very reputable company, and I can’t afford to make one single mistake, you know that!”
Jaejoong approached his beloved, and placed his arms gently around his neck, kissing him lightly on the lips. “You can take a short break though, can’t you?” he asked seductively. Yunho only scowled at him. He grabbed Jaejoong harshly by the shoulders and forced him backwards. Jaejoong stumbled slightly, and fell to the ground on his side. He let out a quiet whimper and looked up disbelievingly at Yunho, who still looked thoroughly annoyed, yet a little guilty at the same time.
“Get to work,” Yunho commanded almost softly. “You’re going to be late.”
“Yeah,” Jaejoong muttered, then spoke a bit louder as he stood, facing his love, “well, I don’t mind too much. See, I’m still trying to enjoy my young life while I can, Yunnie. You may have some high and mighty job, but you ought to remember that you’re only 23. Stop acting like some 40 year old business man!”
“I am a business man, Jaejoong! Whether you like it or not! And you…! You are just a useless
cashier! Get out of my sight!!!”
Jaejoong looked hurt, but he quickly covered it. “Fine,” he snapped, turning on his heel and walking away quickly. “You know…” he almost whispered, stopping suddenly in the doorway. Yunho strained to hear what he was saying. Jaejoong turned his head slightly to look him in the eye, “I wonder if you even care about me anymore…”
Yunho looked a little shocked, but before he could say a word, Jaejoong ran out of the house, forgetting to grab his jacket on the way out.
Tell me which one you like!
